By focusing on operational efficiency and building strong collaborations, Zopnik strives to enhance the overall industry ecosystem and deliver value to its partners.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in New Delhi for a PD Merchandiser.Key Responsibilities: Market Research & Trend Analysis:Stay updated on fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and designs to propose new, commercially viable products. Product Conceptualization:Work with design teams to develop new ideas, creating initial concepts and technical packs (tech packs). Sourcing & Costing:Identify suppliers, negotiate prices for materials, labor, and overhead, and provide accurate cost quotes to buyers. Sampling & Prototyping:Manage the creation of samples (proto samples, fit samples, production samples), ensuring they meet buyer specifications and quality standards. Buyer Communication:Present new developments, discuss buyer feedback, and manage expectations throughout the process. Production Coordination:Liaise with factories, monitor production flow, quality control, and ensure timely delivery. Documentation:Prepare purchase orders, internal order sheets, and shipping documents.Required Skills & Qualifications Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication for negotiating and collaborating with buyers and local factories. Analytical Skills:Ability to analyze market trends, calculate costing etc. Software Proficiency:Familiarity with MS Excel and ERP systems is usually required. Education:A degree or diploma in fashion design, apparel manufacturing, or textiles is generally expected
