Job Description Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹1.5LPM to 2LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient consultations and physical examinations in the OPD and inpatient settings. Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging, including transvaginal and abdominal ultrasound (USG), to assess gynecological conditions. Carry out minimally invasive surgical procedures such as laparoscopy (Lapro) for conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, and infertility. Manage fertility treatment protocols, including IVF cycles, from initial assessment to embryo transfer and follow-up. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with reproductive health concerns, menstrual disorders, and gynecological cancers. Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory documentation standards. Collaborate with obstetricians, fertility specialists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care. Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception, prenatal care, and post-operative recovery. Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education programs. Requirements: MBBS degree with a postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (MD/DM/DNB in OBGYN). Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized gynecological clinic. Proficiency in ultrasound (USG) imaging and interpretation, including diagnostic and procedural applications. Hands-on experience in laparoscopic surgery (Lapro) with demonstrated surgical competence. Experience in managing IVF cycles, including patient counseling, protocol planning, and coordination with embryology teams. Strong OPD management skills with ability to handle high patient volumes efficiently while maintaining quality of care. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills. Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council. Commitment to ethical medical practice, patient confidentiality, and continuous professional development.
