Job Description Posting Title: Cardiologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹7LPM to 10LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic results. Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as Echocardiography, TMT (Treadmill Test), Holter Monitoring, and stress echocardiography. Assist in and perform invasive cardiac procedures including Cardiac Catheterization, Angiography, Angioplasty, and Pacemaker Implantation under supervision. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient-specific risk factors. Collaborate with nurses, technicians, and other specialists to ensure seamless patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings. Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Participate in on-call rotations and emergency cardiac interventions as required. Stay updated with the latest advancements in cardiology through continuous medical education and clinical research. Contribute to hospital quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits related to cardiovascular care. Requirements: MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in General Medicine or a relevant specialization. Completion of a structured residency or internship program with exposure to cardiology. Proficiency in Echocardiography, TMT, Holter Monitoring, and cardiac catheterization procedures. Hands-on experience or training in Angiography, Angioplasty, and Pacemaker Implantation (must be supervised). Strong understanding of cardiovascular physiology, pharmacology, and interventional techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients and families. Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced clinical environments. Valid medical license and registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or equivalent. Willingness to participate in on-call duties and continuous professional development.
