You will combine strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset with real-world perspectives driven by an understanding of client issues and broader marketplace drivers. Senior Analyst’s primary responsibility will be to analyze markets, develop competitive and technical information, and build solid analysis and insights for client engagements, using secondary and primary research methods.Job Description: Senior Analyst will be expected to utilize the best-suited tools to research key markets and develop strategic recommendations for clients, including:Demonstrating strong experience in conducting comprehensive secondary (public and paid databases) and primary research on various industries, macro developments, and regionsDeveloping and analyzing data: Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essentialPreparing written reports or presentations following Kline standardsSummarizing project information for clear presentation of results and conclusions to clientsInterfacing with clients, if necessary, in the presentation of the resultsMaintaining a fundamental working knowledge of the basic Kline databases and reportsWorking constructively with other team members and the project supervisor to meet project goalsSenior Analysts must also have the skills necessary to effectively and efficiently search and analyze secondary sources, such as:Business databasesEngineering/Technical databasesGovernment agency records, including environmental, labor, tax sourcesTrade and industry media, and industry reportsOther industry/public information sources Key Requirements: ● MBA/Master’s degree or postgraduate qualification preferable● Bachelor’s degree and applicable relevant work experience can also be considered● 6+ years of pertinent industry experience in consulting, market research and/or competitive intelligence, or strategic marketing, lubes experience would be a huge plus.● Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills, is essential.● Strong quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills, combined with outstanding business acumen.● Strong experience of conducting comprehensive secondary (public and paid databases) and primary research on various industries, macro developments and regions● Data Modelling and financial modeling proficiency required. Comfortable working with huge datasets and proficient with financial● Ability to take ownership for delivering customized projects with certain degree of autonomy● Knowledge of data analytics / visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, etc. and statistical (including forecasting) techniques such as PCA, regression, cluster analysis, etc. would be a plusNote: This job description is intended as a guide to reflect the principal purpose of the job.
