We’re looking for a curious, hands-on chemistry / biotechnology / chemical engineering intern who enjoys solving real problems. At altM, you’ll work on translating biomass into functional materials, ranging from lignin-based performance additives to next-gen material streams, alongside a highly applied R&D team. Responsibilities: Support synthesis, formulation, and material development experimentsWork with analytical tools (HPLC, GC-MS, NMR, IR - depending on exposure)Help design, run, and troubleshoot experimentsMaintain clean and reliable lab records and dataRead literature and contribute with your ideas - curiosity is valued hereRequirements: A recent graduate or postgraduate in engineering or pure sciences Nice to have: Prior lab and project experience and internships Comfortable in a lab and eager to learn fastDetail-oriented, safety-first, and hands-onExcited by applied science and real-world scale-up challengesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team Compensation and Benefits: Competitive compensation, negotiable for the right talent altM is an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
