HFCL is actively investing in in-house R&D to build next-generation IP routers and networking products to support 5G transport and broadband networks globally.Router Portfolio --Summary:HFCL is looking for a seasoned Router Programme Head to lead the design, development, and delivery of high-performance IP/MPLS routers for its 5G business. The role will own the full product lifecycle and R&D execution, with a strong requirement for hands-on experience working with Broadcom switching/routing silicon platforms.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end router product programs from architecture to market launchDefine and execute R&D roadmap for IP routing platforms supporting 5G networksDrive system design using Broadcom ASICs/SoCs for routing and switching solutionsManage cross-functional teams (hardware, software, embedded, QA, validation)Ensure on-time delivery, quality, and performance benchmarksWork closely with product management and customers for feature definitionOversee vendor/technology partner engagement including Broadcom ecosystemEnsure compliance with telecom and networking standardsRequired Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science, or related)15+ years of experience in networking product R&D (routers preferred)Proven experience leading router development programsMandatory hands-on experience with Broadcom chipsets/platforms (Jericho, Trident, Tomahawk, or similar)Strong expertise in IP/MPLS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS), QoS, and transport networksExperience in hardware-software co-design and embedded systemsPreferred Skills:Exposure to 5G backhaul/fronthaul architecturesExperience with network OS (Linux-based NOS, SDK integrations)Product lifecycle management from concept to volume productionStrong leadership and stakeholder management skillsWhy Join HFCL:Lead strategic 5G networking products built in India for global marketsHigh-visibility leadership role in advanced R&DOpportunity to build scalable router platforms✅ Mandatory (Must Have)1.
