Calypso Knowledge (V16 and above)Extensive hands-on experience implementing Calypso front-to-back across full project lifecycles, including upgrades.Strong functional expertise across Calypso modules, including: Fixed Income (Bonds), Derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps), Repo, Advances, Letters of Credit, Structured Flows and Equity products.Deep understanding of product setup, trade capture, lifecycle events, and workflow configuration.Proficiency in Calypso Pricing, Accounting, ERS / Limits and Compliance, Workflow configurations, Static Data, Reference Data, Reporting, Task Station, and Scheduled Tasks.Nice to have - Exposure to the Calypso Hedge Accounting module, along with a understanding of Mortgage‑Backed Securities (MBS) products and their underlying valuation and accounting concepts2. Domain KnowledgeDeep product expertise across Bonds, Interest Rate Swaps, Repos, and Equity Issuance, with the ability to articulate trade structures, pricing concepts, and complete end‑to‑end lifecycle events. Comprehensive understanding of Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions, including their respective roles, workflows, and interaction points across the trade lifecycle. Strong knowledge of Bond Issuance processes, covering primary market mechanics, issuance workflows, settlement cycles, and post‑issuance activities. Solid foundational understanding of the LIBOR–SOFR transition, including benchmark differences, fallback conventions, pricing implications, and operational impacts. Nice to have: Experience working with electronic trading and affirmation platforms such as Tradeweb or MarkitWire for derivatives clearing, confirmation, and straight‑through processing workflows.3. Business Analyst SkillsStrong experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, documentation, and writing functional specifications.Ability to engage with business stakeholders, understand problem statements, and translate them into actionable requirements.Skilled in creating detailed process flows, use cases, and business scenarios.Proficiency in Jira and Confluence for agile tracking, documentation, and collaboration.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Visio for data analysis and process mapping.Critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.Highly organized with strong time management skills and proven capability to manage multiple priorities.Self‑driven individual who proactively deep dives into existing systems, integrations, and business processes.Ability to quickly understand business objectives, build trust with stakeholders, and communicate clearly—both verbally and in writing.4.
