We leverage our powerful brands across product categories, sales channels and geographies to create value for our customers and shareholders.Business Unit Supported: Masco Support ServicesWebsite: Brand Protection SpecialistLocation: India (Permanent Remote)Job Type: PermanentExperience required: Minimum 3 years experience with Brand Protection, knowledge of intellectual property and copyright laws preferred, experience working with Chinese and Asian websites and marketplaces on counterfeit and Intellectual Property casesAssessment Test: (based on role requirement) will be required to take a skill assessment test prior interview.Shift: 04:00 pm - 01:00 am IST /EST 05:30 am - 02:30 pmWork hours- total 9 hrs (8.5 hrs working+ Half an hour meal break)CTC: As per market standardsNotice period: (Immediate joiner preferred) candidate serving notice left with 30 working days preferred.Job Summary:Brand Protection Specialist will assist in monitoring and enforcing various sales and Minimum Advertised Price (“MAP”) violations and intellectual property abuse. This position will use third-party software to track violations and communicate them to key stakeholders. This role will protect various brands and ensure a commitment to quality across a variety of sales channels. This position will focus on continuous improvement opportunities working across businesses and internal departments when possible.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Provides outstanding support for all levels of Business Unit interactionsMonitors and enforces MAP, price increase adherence, sales, and product-quality policiesUpdates software as items changePerforms competitive analysis for MAPMonitor and enforce online Trademark and Copyright infringements through software tools (eg: Corsearch/ TrackStreet)Enforces unauthorized seller infringementsPerforms seller investigations and creates reports to help with online and physical enforcementProvides routine reporting for key stakeholdersReports anomalies in seller activity to the Business Unit as they occurMust have key skills:Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent Chinese/Mandarin communication skills, both verbal and written, a plus.Ability to use a computer for 8.5 hours per day.Familiar with Microsoft applications Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and computer skillsExperience with Brand Protection, knowledge of intellectual property and copyright laws preferredExperience with project management a plusPossesses an elevated level of competency in Microsoft Suite with a specific focus on Excel, comprehensive computer skills overall (vlookup, Hlookup)Has excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to effectively address all levels across the organization.Is flexible and meticulous while strategically solving problems independently and proactivelyExhibits the capacity to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation appropriately.Note: This job description is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Candidates must ensure safe and secure setup and usage of these assets.This setup is non-negotiable and essential to ensure uninterrupted workflow, secure data handling, and effective collaboration.
