Position: Senior SD Functional ConsultantLocation: RemoteContract PositionWe are seeking an experienced SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) Consultant with strong SAP S/4HANA expertise and a solid track record across multiple end-to-end S/4HANA implementations and other large, global programs. The ideal candidate brings deep functional knowledge, strong Order-to-Cash business process understanding, and hands-on configuration skills. APAC market experience is highly preferred.The selected candidate will join an ongoing S/4HANA implementation covering China and Hong Kong and, in parallel, support upcoming S/4HANA deployments across the remaining APAC markets.ResponsibilitiesLead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SD in an S/4HANA landscape.Translate business requirements into functional designs and configure SAP SD solutions accordingly.Take end-to-end ownership of SD processes, including Order Management, Special Order Processes, Pricing, Billing, e-Invoicing, Distribution, EDI (functional), Business Partner, and Intercompany (optional).Leverage advanced S/4HANA SD capabilities such as Fiori apps, embedded analytics, aATP, BRF+, and Condition Contract Management (highly desirable).Support integration with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, TM) and with external systems.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand current processes, define future-state requirements, and propose scalable, standardized SAP SD solutions.Plan and facilitate workshops, design reviews, and functional walkthroughs with cross-functional teams.Support build activities, cutover planning and execution, SIT, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.Troubleshoot and resolve SD-related issues, continuously optimizing processes and configuration.Advise on S/4HANA-enabled best practices, standardization, and simplification opportunities.Develop high-quality documentation including functional specifications, process flows, test scenarios, and training materials.Requirements10+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience.5+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA.Strong expertise across key SD processes: Order Management, Pricing, Billing, e-Invoicing, Special Order Processes, Distribution, EDI (functional), and Business Partner.Proven experience in at least three large-scale or global SAP implementation projects, including three or more S/4HANA implementations.Solid understanding of SD integration with FI and MM.Strong knowledge of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) business processes.Expert-level SD configuration skills in S/4HANA.Experience with Fiori, IDocs, and other interface technologies.Ability to write clear functional specifications and work closely with ABAP and integration teams.Strong understanding of integration across SAP modules and third-party applications.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong client-facing communication skills in English; Mandarin is a significant plus.Location: Eastern Hemisphere preferred; candidates in Western time zones will be considered if an optimal resource is not found in preferred regions.
