Our unique perspective allows us to see the critical intersections between talent, assets and ideas — the dynamic formula that drives business performance.Together, we unlock potential.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan design: Advising on appropriate employee retirement plans for companies, modelling impact on future costs and building business cases using industry market benchmarking.Retirement Advisory services: Providing companies with consulting advice on governance and best practices in administering their retirement plans; as well as opportunities in working in Merger & Acquisition transactions.Performance ObjectivesClientsWork on all stages of an actuarial valuation – from validating data received from the client to liability calculation with the final step of reporting results to the client in the form of actuarial reportsLiaising and coordination with clients, including face to face client meetingsGain deep understanding of the Indian and International accounting standards and technical aspects associated with benefits consulting in IndiaSupport in Special Projects (Actuarial and Non-Actuarial) which involve plan design, restructuring of employee benefit schemes and other areas of general consultingManage small to medium sized clients independently - Creating project plans, Monitoring progress to deadlines and budget, client interaction and managing regular status meeting callsEnsuring appropriate and effective communication with clients and internal team membersExcellenceWork collaboratively with other colleagues and consultants to meet client expectationsSolid technical and programing abilities on Quantify and other internal software / toolsIncrease efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processesDevelop a strong understanding of the retirement benefit plans and industry and become familiar with the overall benefits environment in IndiaSeek and participate in key learning and development opportunities/maintain steady progress through actuarial examsManage time effectively between multiple assignments at a timeAdhere to all predefined steps while carrying out the work ensuring Willis Towers Watson Professional Excellence quality model.The Requirement: Work experience of 2-4 years into Pensions and Employee Benefits domainBachelor’s degree in commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, any Engineering or an analytical subjectPursing actuarial science and given relevant actuarial papersExperience in Valuation of Gratuity with AS 15 and IND AS 19/ IAS19.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and manage time effectivelyGood analytical and research capabilities with the ability to challenge conventional thinkingSelf-driven achiever with a value for teamwork, collaboration, decisiveness, and integrityProactive approach to meeting clients’ needs.Conceptual; ability to go beyond the details and see the big picturePassion to acquire, share, and disseminate new information and knowledgeEvidence of good interest in relationship building and client management skillsExcellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in ExcelAbility to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely mannerFlexibility and proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues.Willis Towers Watson is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on any basis.We’re committed to equal employment opportunity and provide application, interview and workplace adjustments and accommodations to all applicants.
