They should have experience with AutoCAD and be able to utilize strong design skills in order to create visual aids. The role involves on-ground supervision, coordination with the Project Manager and client, drawing interpretation, material management, and site handover upon completion.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & ExecutionStudy and interpret civil drawings, BOQs, and specificationsAssist the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution of civil worksEnsure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings and quality standardsMarking and taking over the siteSite SupervisionSupervise day-to-day on-site civil works including foundations, RCC, masonry, flooring, roads, and drainageMarking and layout of work areas as per drawingsCoordinate with contractors, supervisors, and labour at siteEnsure work progress aligns with project timelinesMaterial ManagementCoordinate material procurement as per project requirementsVerify quantity and quality of incoming materialsEnsure proper storage and usage of materials at siteQuality Control & TestingCoordinate material testing (concrete, steel, aggregates, etc.) as per standardsMaintain quality control records and test reportsEnsure rectification of defects, if anyCoordination & CommunicationCoordinate closely with the Project Manager for daily progress updatesLiaise with client representatives for inspections and approvalsSupport consultants and third-party inspectors during site visitsDocumentation & ReportingMaintain daily site progress reportsTrack material consumption and work completionAssist in preparation of completion and handover documentsProject Completion & HandoverEnsure completion of works as per scope and drawingsCoordinate snag list closureAssist in final inspection and handover of site to client upon project completionQualification & ExperienceB.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil EngineeringMinimum 4–7 years experience in factory or industrial construction projectsStrong understanding of construction practices, drawings, and site executionKey SkillsExcellent drawing and plan-reading skillsStrong site supervision and coordination abilitiesKnowledge of material specifications and testing proceduresBasic knowledge of measurement and quantity verificationGood communication and reporting skillsOther RequirementsWillingness to work full-time at site for contract durationAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionImmediate or short-notice availability preferred
