Financial Consolidation ConsultantWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Consolidation specialist to join our growing team. This role will be instrumental in delivering high-quality financial consolidation services to our clients, leveraging your expertise in statutory consolidation and your consulting background. You will play a key role in [mention specific team or project area, e.g., streamlining consolidation processes, implementing new consolidation systems, providing technical accounting guidance.Responsibilities:Lead and execute financial consolidation engagements for clients across various industriesPerform full-cycle statutory consolidation, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and reportingAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential risksDevelop and implement best practices for financial consolidation processesCollaborate with client teams to understand their specific needs and tailor solutions accordinglyProvide technical accounting guidance and support related to consolidation.Manage project timelines and budgets effectivelyContribute to business development activities, such as proposal writing and client presentationsMentor and train junior team membersParticipate in the implementation and configuration of financial consolidation systemProfile:Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 7 – 8 years of experience in financial consolidation, preferably within a consulting environmentUnderstanding of financial accounting according to IFRS and U.S. GAAPStrong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and statutory consolidation requirementsExperience with Fluence or other financial consolidation software such as SAP BPC, SAP GRC, Oracle etcExperience with Tagetik tool is good to have.Proven ability to manage complex consolidation projects and meet deadlinesExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with clients at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Excel
