This role ensures continuity of supply by maintaining accurate component data, generating risk dashboards, and supporting governance of packaging specifications. The analyst partners closely with Packaging Product Development (PD), packaging procurement, and commercialization teams to enable successful launches and reduce complexity across the network.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and update the critical component list, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Generate and refresh component risk dashboards for IBP Supply Review, CCM reviews, and commercialization support.Collaborate with Packaging PD, packaging procurement, and commercialization teams to resolve component issues and support specification governance.Monitor TEXT alerts daily and escalate outages or risks through the Triforce process.Provide data and insights to the Network Optimization team for scenario planning and volume move decisions.Secondary ResponsibilitiesSupport digitization initiatives by enhancing dashboard automation and integrating component risk visibility into IBP processes. As the first dedicated supply chain resource for packaging, this role will establish foundational processes for packaging risk management, creating a new level of transparency and control across the network. Partner with Packaging PD, packaging procurement, and commercialization teams to streamline data flows, improve reporting accuracy, and enable real-time insights for strategic decision-making. Drive innovation in how packaging risk is monitored and communicated, setting the standard for future best practices.Required QualificationsLevel of Education and Discipline -Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Coursework in data analytics, operations management, or logistics preferred.Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen1–3 years in supply chain, materials planning, or data analytics. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets. Exposure to CPG manufacturing or distribution environments and familiarity with IBP or S&OP processes is a plus.Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influenceStrong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. Clear and concise communication skills for presenting data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.Other Skills and HPO CompetenciesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling). Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and ability to navigate material master data. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and risk dashboards.Preferred QualificationsLevel of Education and Discipline -MBA or advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations Research, or Business Analytics. Coursework in predictive modeling, optimization, or advanced planning systems is highly desirable.Certification and/or Licenses-APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred. Additional certifications in Lean Six Sigma or advanced analytics tools are a plus.Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumenHands-on experience with advanced analytics, scenario planning, and risk modeling for supply chain optimization. Familiarity with IBP processes and commercialization workflows. Prior experience in CPG manufacturing or distribution networks, leveraging digital tools for dashboard automation and predictive insights.Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influenceStrong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (planning, procurement, manufacturing). Ability to clearly present data insights in meetings and reports.Other Skills and HPO CompetenciesProficiency with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting. As the first dedicated resource for packaging, the analyst creates visibility for components that directly impact $5B in finished goods sales. Responsibilities include maintaining governance for packaging specifications, supporting commercialization launches, and enabling proactive risk mitigation through IBP Supply Review and CCM processes. By providing accurate, timely data and partnering with Packaging PD, packaging procurement, and commercialization teams, this role reduces complexity, prevents outages, and supports cost avoidance initiatives estimated at $2M annually.
