Job Title: Senior UI Engineer (React & React Native)Experience: 12–15+ Years Employment Type: Full-Time Work Mode: Hybrid / Remote (as applicable) Location: Pune / RemoteJob SummaryWe are looking for a highly experienced Senior UI Engineer with strong expertise in React.js and React Native to design, develop, and maintain scalable web and cross-platform mobile applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in UI architecture, complex API integrations, performance optimization, and mentoring teams while delivering high-quality user experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain high-performance web and cross-platform mobile applications using React.js, React Native, and related frameworks.Lead UI architecture and implementation for complex, large-scale enterprise applications.Translate business requirements and UX designs into clean, scalable, and reusable UI components.Handle complex UI logic, API integrations, and state management using Redux and modern React patterns.Re-engineer and modernize legacy applications using the latest React ecosystem.Collaborate closely with UX designers, backend teams, product owners, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.Ensure application performance, security, responsiveness, and cross-browser/device compatibility.Leverage AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini) to improve development efficiency and innovation.Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentoring to junior and mid-level engineers.Participate in CI/CD, testing, deployment, and release processes for web and mobile platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects and production issues efficiently.Required Technical SkillsProgramming Languages: JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3Frontend & Mobile Frameworks:React.js, React Native, ExpoRedux, Hooks, Context APIUI Libraries & Styling:Bootstrap, Material UI, responsive design principlesMobile & Web Tools:VS Code, Git, Xcode, Android Studio, TestFlightBackend & Integration:RESTful APIs, FirebaseAI & Productivity Tools:GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, GeminiProfessional Experience08–12+ years of experience in frontend and cross-platform application development.Proven experience working on enterprise-scale applications with hundreds of screens.Strong experience in logistics, shipment management, dashboards, and real-time applications is a plus.Experience working as both an individual contributor and technical lead managing teams of 10–15+ members.Hands-on experience with App Store and Play Store deployments.EducationBachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering or equivalent.Soft Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.Strong ownership, accountability, and delivery focus.Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile/Scrum environments.Nice to HaveExperience modernizing legacy UI systems.Exposure to cross-platform frameworks like Titanium, Cordova, or Qt/QML.Prior experience in architecture or technical leadership roles.
