Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Home Automation & Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, integrating, and implementing automation solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This role requires a solid understanding of IoT-based smart home solutions, Digital building, BMS platforms, ELV systems (ACS and Security surveillance systems), and cross-disciplinary coordination with MEP and architectural teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and engineering of Home Automation and IBMS systems, including integration of lighting controls, HVAC, AV, security, surveillance, and access control. Develop system architecture, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications for automation and IBMS projects. Work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to translate requirements into technical solutions. Integrate smart building technologies with third-party systems (HVAC, fire alarm, energy management, etc.). Ensure compliance with international standards, local codes, and sustainability guidelines. Prepare schematics, control diagrams, and integration layouts using CAD/Revit/other tools. Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation during design and commissioning stages. Stay updated with emerging trends in IoT, AI-driven building automation and metering methodologies, energy efficiency, and smart homes. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and support project execution teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s / Master’s in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation /Telecom Engineering (or equivalent). 2+ years of proven experience in designing Home Automation and IBMS systems. Strong knowledge of ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking). Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and design documentation tools. Strong client-facing, coordination, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.
