Role PurposeWe are looking for a CA-qualified Workday Finance Functional Consultant with proven experience in end-to-end Workday Financials implementations. This role focuses on functional ownership, business alignment, and solution design across Workday Finance modules, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality financial transformations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end functional activities for Workday Financials implementations, from requirements gathering to post-go-live supportPartner with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into Workday-configured solutionsDrive business process design, configuration, and validation across core Workday Finance modulesOwn functional design documentation, configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and UAT supportSupport data validation, reconciliation, and finance controls, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and compliance needsCollaborate with integration and reporting teams to ensure downstream accuracy and completeness of financial dataProvide functional guidance during cutover, parallel runs, and hypercare phasesAct as a subject-matter expert for Workday Finance, ensuring best-practice adoption and solution stabilityCore Workday Finance ExpertiseWorkday Financial Management (mandatory hands-on experience)Strong exposure to modules such as:General LedgerAccounts PayableAccounts ReceivableAsset ManagementBusiness AssetsRevenue Management (good to have)Financial reporting, worktags, and accounting configurationUnderstanding of finance controls, audits, and statutory reporting requirementsMandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory5 to 9 years of experience & hands on in at least one full end-to-end Workday Finance implementationStrong functional consulting background in Workday Financials (not a technical or project-management role)Proven ability to independently handle functional design, configuration, and stakeholder discussions
