Position: Kinaxis Solution ConsultantLocation: RemoteContract Position Relevant Kinaxis experience (proper hands-on at solution consultant level) they are expecting is at least 5+ years. Kinaxis experience could be in either Demand Planning or Supply Planning or both.The Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) team is the IT engine that delivers robust capabilities, products, and solutions to the business by focusing on cost optimization, business growth, and better connectivity with partners and customers. This role is part of the Supply Chain Planning and Forecasting team. As part of this team, the role will support full-horizon, end-to-end integrated solutions and will be responsible for developing and supporting Kinaxis-related implementation projects and changes managed by the DTS organization.Scope: Responsible for solution design and delivery of the Kinaxis systemExcellent understanding of the Kinaxis solution footprint, with deep knowledge of supply planning solutionsLeads/facilitates business diagnostics, As-Is process analysis, and To-Be design workshops, and can translate outcomes into solution design documents that support business requirementsAbility to review functional specifications and designs, and provide inputs to enhance the quality of deliverablesAbility to review existing systems and tools and recommend improvement opportunitiesExperience implementing planning solutions for a large global manufacturer or CPG company is preferred, but not requiredAbility to configure Kinaxis planning solutions and implement them independently with oversight from a Kinaxis architectAbility to influence business decisions on technology by leveraging experience, industry best practices, and standard methodologiesAbility to deliver in fast-paced environments using agile methodologiesAssist the delivery manager and Kinaxis architect with project planning, including detailed plans, estimates, and timelinesSet up and coordinate user acceptance testing, and support final acceptance and critical-phase sign-off by business ownersCommunicate project risks and issues that may negatively impact schedule, scope, or budgetQualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related fieldMBA or master’s degree (or equivalent) in supply chain or logistics is preferred but not requiredTechnical experience (8+ years total in supply chain solutions, with Kinaxis or similar tools):5+ years of proven experience in Kinaxis supply planning implementations is mandatory; project, enhancement, and/or POC experience is required (end-user or superuser experience alone does not qualify)Implementation experience and functional knowledge of material planning systems and processes is desirableHands-on experience integrating Kinaxis with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC is highly desirable but not mandatoryExperience collaborating with cross-cultural, distributed teams to gather requirements, make design decisions, and support testing and deliveryStrong time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask and meet tight deadlinesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsKinaxis experience may be in demand planning, supply planning, or both. While 5+ years of Kinaxis experience is preferred, strong candidates with somewhat less experience may be considered if they demonstrate the right skills and background.
