As the SVP of Engineering – Generative AI, you will lead engineering excellence for the company’s next generation of AI products and platforms. You will define and execute technical strategy, scale engineering teams, and drive innovation across backbone AI systems, generative AI services, and AI-enabled customer solutions. You will partner closely with product, design, data science, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-impact AI capabilities across enterprise and consumer domains.About the RoleSenior Vice President (SVP) – Engineering, Generative AILocation: Bangalore and GurgaonExperience: 20+ years of software. 3+ Years in GenAI engineering experience with leadership roles in large-scale, cloud-native environments.ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Vision Lead the engineering roadmap for generative AI platforms and AI-driven products that align with Client's AI strategy and global business goals.Champion best practices in architecture, reliability, performance, and ethical AI.Product & Platform Engineering Architect and scale cloud-native AI platforms that support generative models, conversational agents, personalized experiences, and internal copilots used across millions of users and employees.Collaboration & Ecosystem Integration Work closely with strategic AI partners, including hyperscalers and frontier AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI), to integrate cutting-edge models and capabilities into client's stacks.Cross-Functional Execution Partner with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Infrastructure teams to build secure, multilingual, and privacy-compliant AI services that enhance customer care, network operations, internal workflows, and consumer experiences.Operational Excellence Drive agile delivery, SRE practices, CI/CD engineering, observability, and automated testing to ensure high reliability and performance of critical AI systems.Talent Development Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent. Build high-performing teams that innovate and scale AI products with quality and velocity. QualificationsProven track record building and scaling complex AI/ML systems, including generative AI, LLM deployments, or advanced analytics platforms.Strong understanding of modern tech stacks across Kubernetes, distributed systems, APIs, and ML infrastructure.Expertise partnering with external AI ecosystem partners and integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into production.Excellent strategic and execution mindset with a bias for measurable outcomes.Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders across technology, product, and business domains.Ability to build and scale high-performance engineering teams in a fast-moving, global environment.Exceptional communication skills to articulate technical strategy and trade-offs to senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders. Required SkillsExperience working with OpenAPI’s to build and enhance AI-driven solutions.Background in driving new GenAI projects with a focus on customer satisfaction and business impact.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to execute efficiently under pressure.
