The Lead Commissioning Engineer – ELV will be responsible for planning, executing, and leading the commissioning of Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems for a large-scale Green Hydrogen production facility. This role ensures all ELV systems are fully integrated, tested, compliant with project specifications, and operationally ready for safe handover to Operations.The position requires strong technical expertise in ELV systems, hands-on commissioning experience in industrial or energy projects, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, and Process.Responsibilities:Commissioning Leadership:Lead commissioning activities for all ELV systems across the Green Hydrogen facilityDevelop and implement ELV commissioning strategies, procedures, and schedulesCoordinate system walkdowns, pre-commissioning checks, testing, and final acceptanceLead site commissioning teams, vendors, and subcontractors for ELV scopeELV Systems Scope:CCTV & Video Surveillance SystemsAccess Control & Perimeter Security SystemsFire Alarm & Emergency Communication Systems (integration support)Public Address / General Alarm (PAGA) SystemsData Networks (Structured Cabling, Fiber Optics, Switches)Telecom Systems (IP telephony, radios, integration with control rooms)Integrated Security Management Systems (ISMS)Interface coordination with SCADA, DCS, and BMS where applicableTechnical & Integration:Ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with Electrical, Instrumentation, and Automation systemsReview ELV drawings, specifications, and vendor documents for commissioning readinessSupport FAT, SAT, and integrated system testing (IST)Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning and start-upSafety, Quality & Compliance:Ensure commissioning activities comply with project HSE requirements and permit-to-work systemsVerify ELV installations comply with applicable international standards (IEC, NFPA, IEEE, ISO) and local regulationsMaintain commissioning documentation, punch lists, test records, and as-built updatesStakeholder Coordination:Interface with EPC teams, OEMs, client representatives, and Operations & Maintenance teamsSupport operator training, system demonstrations, and knowledge transferParticipate in commissioning progress reviews and reporting to project managementExperience:10–15 years of experience in ELV systems, with minimum 5 years in commissioning leadership rolesProven commissioning experience in industrial plants, energy, oil & gas, chemical, or hydrogen projectsExperience in Green Hydrogen, renewable energy, or electrolysis-based facilities is a strong advantageTechnical Skills:Strong hands-on knowledge of ELV system commissioning and integrationFamiliarity with industrial cybersecurity and network architectures is preferredAbility to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, ELV schematics, and network layoutsExperience with vendor coordination and multi-system integration testing
