Role Purpose We are looking for a CA-qualified Workday Finance Functional Consultant with proven experience in end-to-end Workday Financials implementations . This role focuses on functional ownership , business alignment, and solution design across Workday Finance modules, working closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality financial transformations. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end functional activities for Workday Financials implementations, from requirements gathering to post-go-live support Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into Workday-configured solutions Drive business process design, configuration, and validation across core Workday Finance modules Own functional design documentation , configuration workbooks, test scenarios, and UAT support Support data validation, reconciliation, and finance controls , ensuring alignment with accounting standards and compliance needs Collaborate with integration and reporting teams to ensure downstream accuracy and completeness of financial data Provide functional guidance during cutover, parallel runs, and hypercare phases Act as a subject-matter expert for Workday Finance, ensuring best-practice adoption and solution stability Core Workday Finance Expertise Workday Financial Management (mandatory hands-on experience) Strong exposure to modules such as: General Ledger Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Asset Management Business Assets Revenue Management (good to have) Financial reporting, worktags, and accounting configuration Understanding of finance controls, audits, and statutory reporting requirements Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable) Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory 5 to 9 years of experience & hands on in at least one full end-to-end Workday Finance implementation Strong functional consulting background in Workday Financials (not a technical or project-management role) Proven ability to independently handle functional design, configuration, and stakeholder discussions
