Project descriptionWe need a Senior Python and Pytest Tester to work for a leading investment bank clientResponsibilitiesInteract with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectivesShould co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teamsPerform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data.Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolutionDesign and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use casesUse existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation functionSkillsMust have5+ years of experience in data driven testingMandatory experience in Banking or Capital Market ProjectsGood experience on PyTest and Test AutomationGood experience in SeleniumStrong understanding of web application testing and associated technologies.Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases per requirements and designFamiliarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.Nice to haveKnowledge of PySparkUnderstanding of Financial Markets Asset Classes (FX, FI, Equities, Rates, Commodities & Credit), various trade types (OTC, exchange traded, Spot, Forward, Swap, Options) and related systems is a plusSurveillance domain knowledge, regulations (MAR, MIFID, CAT, Dodd Frank) and related Systems knowledge is certainly a plus
