The ideal candidate will work with our development team to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Ruby on Rails and related technologies.What you will do.*Help design, build, and maintain reliable Ruby on Rails code* Create and maintain software documentation* Collaborate with the design and product development teams to establish objectives and come up with solutions* Identify bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues* Help maintain code quality, organization, and use automation* Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharingRequirements* 7+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails framework* Strong knowledge of Ruby programming language* Experience with Rails testing frameworks (RSpec)* Understanding of MVC design patterns* Familiarity with ORM libraries (Active Record)* Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery)* Experience with creating and maintaining RESTful APIs* Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git)* Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL)* Familiarity with background processing (Sidekiq)* Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application* Experience with Agile development methodologies* Problem-solving aptitude* Excellent communication and teamwork skillsNice to Haves* Experience with Stimulus controllers* Understanding of Docker and containerization* Experience with AWS, specifically the ECS, EKS services* Some DevOps experience* Knowledge of ElasticSearch* Knowledge of kubernetesIf Interested please share your updated resume to sudha.natarajan@
