Job Title: Admissions CounsellorLocation: Sancta Maria International School, FaridabadPosition Type: Full-timeJob PurposeThe Admissions Counsellor will serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, representing Sancta Maria International School with professionalism, warmth, and clarity. The role involves guiding families through the admissions journey, communicating the school’s IB philosophy and academic offerings, and ensuring a seamless, transparent, and student-centred admissions process.The Admissions Counsellor plays a key role in building strong relationships with families and supporting the school’s growth in alignment with its mission and values.Key ResponsibilitiesFamily Engagement & Relationship BuildingServe as the primary contact for admission inquiries (walk-ins, calls, emails, online queries).Conduct campus tours and information sessions, clearly articulating the school’s vision, IB philosophy, and academic pathways.Build meaningful relationships with prospective families, understanding their needs and guiding them through decision-making.Maintain timely and professional follow-up communication with families throughout the admission process.Admissions Process ManagementManage end-to-end admissions procedures including inquiry handling, documentation, assessments, interviews, and enrolment formalities.Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of student records and application data.Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to schedule assessments and interactions.Maintain updated admissions data, reports, and conversion metrics.Marketing & Outreach SupportSupport admissions outreach initiatives, open houses, school events, and promotional activities.Represent the school at educational fairs, community engagements, and networking events where required.Contribute to admissions communication strategies aligned with the school’s brand and positioning.IB Philosophy CommunicationClearly communicate the benefits of an IB education, inquiry-based learning, and international-mindedness to prospective families.Support families in understanding curriculum pathways and student progression.Promote the school’s holistic approach to academics, co-curricular activities, and student well-being.Collaboration & ReportingWork closely with school leadership, academic coordinators, and accounts teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new students.Provide periodic admissions reports, projections, and insights to leadership.Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance parent experience.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (mandatory).Master’s degree preferred.Training or exposure to IB or international school environments is an advantage.ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of experience in admissions, counselling, marketing, or client relationship management, preferably in an educational institution.Experience in an international or progressive school environment will be an added advantage.Skills & AttributesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong presentation and relationship-building abilities.Professional, warm, and empathetic approach to family interactions.Strong organizational and data management skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Alignment with the school’s values of integrity, inclusivity, and student-centred learning.How to ApplyTo apply for the position of Admissions Counsellor at Sancta Maria International School, Faridabad, please submit your cover letter, resume/CV, and contact details of three professional references to apply.hr@.
