The OpportunityAs a Principal DevSecOps Platform Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our cloud-native platform infrastructure. This role will be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable, resilient systems that empower our engineering teams to deliver innovative solutions rapidly and reliably. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in modern platform engineering practices, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure automation.What you’ll ContributeDesign, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions on public cloud platforms in AWSBuild and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Cross Plane, and ArgoCD to manage AWS cloud resources via GitOpsDevelop automation to enable CI/CD golden paths for engineering teams to tooling and platform development to improve developer productivity and operational efficiencyDesign and implement Observability capability solutions to ensure platform performance, reliability, and scalabilityArchitect and implement Kubernetes-based platform solutions with a focus on scalability, reliability, and securityResponsible to architect large clusters and operationally support it.Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Mentor and guide platform engineering team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvementDrive platform strategy and roadmap in collaboration with engineering leadership and stakeholder teamsEnsure platform observability, monitoring, and incident response capabilities meet operational excellence standardsWork closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate infrastructure as code practices across the organization.Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices in GitOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure managementWhat We’re Seeking10+ years of experience in cloud & platform engineering, DevOps, developer enablement, or infrastructure roles with increasing responsibilityExpert-level proficiency with AWS cloud services especially in compute, storage, networking, implementing cloud native services, and developing resilient infrastructure architectureStrong hands-on experience with developing golden paths for engineers and managing CI/CD pipelines leveraging GitOps workflows for Kubernetes application deliveryDeep expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for multi-cloud resource provisioning and full stack deploymentsProven experience with Kubernetes infrastructure management and service mesh technologies like Istio and API gateway solutionsStrong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, operators, custom resources, and ecosystem toolsAdvanced programming skills in GoLang and Python for building platform tooling and automationDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architectural decisions across engineering teamsExcellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technicalBackground in SRE or Software Engineering practices and principles.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or relevant experienceAWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional)About USFICO, originally known as Fair Isaac Corporation, is a leading analytics and decision management company that empowers businesses and individuals around the world with data-driven insights.
