As a result, we place a strong emphasis on correctness, reliability, security, and data privacy.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can independently design, build, and deliver high-quality features across the stack. You will play a key role in shaping implementation decisions, improving engineering standards, and mentoring junior engineers.This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning problems end-to-end and working closely with product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systemsBuild scalable, maintainable frontend applications using React.jsDesign and implement robust backend services and APIs using Node.jsOwn feature delivery from requirements clarification to production releaseMake thoughtful trade-offs between speed, quality, and long-term maintainabilityWrite clean, well-tested, and well-documented codeReview code from peers and raise the overall quality barTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, including root cause analysisCollaborate with product managers, designers, and clinicians to refine requirementsEnsure adherence to security, privacy, and reliability best practices, especially for healthcare dataActively contribute to improving engineering processes, tooling, and standardsUse modern developer tooling, including AI-assisted development tools, to improve productivity while maintaining high standards of code quality, reliability, and maintainability.Required Skills & Experience4–7 years of professional software engineering experienceStrong proficiency in JavaScriptSolid experience with: React.js and modern frontend patterns Node.js and RESTful API designExperience working with databases: SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)Strong understanding of: Software design principles Performance optimization Error handling and observabilityHands-on experience with: Unit and integration testing Git-based workflows and code reviews CI/CD pipelinesAbility to debug complex issues across the stackClear communication and collaboration skillsDemonstrates sound judgment in leveraging AI-assisted tools—knowing when to use them and when not to.Nice-to-HaveExperience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native systemsExposure to healthcare, medical devices, or regulated domainsExperience designing APIs or systems consumed at scalePrior mentoring experienceWhy Join Tricog (Senior Level)Own meaningful features used in real clinical workflowsInfluence technical decisions and engineering practicesWork on systems where correctness truly mattersGrow toward Staff/Lead roles with increasing scope and impact
