About the CompanyWe are hiring for one of our clients. The company is a pan-India engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company involved in large-scale building and infrastructure projects across the country.Job Location- Bangalore and DelhiAbout the RoleVice President - High Rise Commercial ProjectsInvolved in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated project to ensure that completion of project is accomplished within prescribed time frame and financial and qualitative parameters.ResponsibilitiesConceptualize project in a most effective manner and ensure its progress as per scheduleEvolve new techniques to ensure deliverables to the highest standardKnowledge of Business Strategy and planningEnsures administrative efficiency, proper procedure, implementation of policiesOverall in-charge for Reviewing, Budgeting, Cost Controls and ApprovalsReview project proposal or plan to determine time frame, financial limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing Manpower requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projectEstablishes work plan for each phase of projectResponsible for Interacting with Architects, Clients, Vendors, PMC, consultants for executionPrepares status reports, schedules and plans as per requirementPrepares project reports for management, client, or othersDiscusses with team to provide technical advice and to resolve problemsCoordinates project activities with activities of government regulatory or other governmental agenciesPromote and maintain Health & Safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followedOptimal use of resources and minimise wastageQualificationsMandatory - B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech – Civil EngineeringAdditional - Construction ManagementTotal Experience: -VP - 22 years plus (b) Sr VP – 24 years plusNote – Candidate must be at least a Sr General Manager / AVP at current organisation for past 5 years or moreRequired SkillsShould be able to balance team and individual responsibilitiesShould exhibit objectivity and openness to others viewsExhibit confidence in self and others, inspire and motivate team to perform wellEffectively influence actions and opinions of others, inspire respect and trust, provide vision and inspiration to peers and subordinates, displays passion and optimismExcellent leadership, communication, coordination and negotiation skillsSkilfully communicate with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, and others stake holders involved with the projectCollating data, and writing reportsCritical thinking, conflict resolution and maintaining cordial & healthy operating conditionsOversee Quality and Safety aspectsEnsure the project is delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarksNumerical and IT skills, including knowledge of relevant building methods and project management software to manage information and finances during the projectKnowledge of software commonly used in construction fieldExcellent communication skillsCandidates should not be a job jumper.
