Chief Safety OfficerProject: Metro Track ProjectLocation: PuneExperience Required: More than 10 YearsSalary: Up to ₹70,000 per month (depending on experience & competency)About the RoleApurvakriti Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and proactive Chief Safety Officer for its Metro Track Project in Pune. The role involves leading all safety-related activities at the project site, ensuring strict compliance with statutory regulations, company policies, and project-specific safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at the project site.Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, local laws, and metro/railway safety standards.Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at site.Identify potential hazards and recommend preventive and corrective measures.Organize and conduct safety trainings, tool-box talks, and induction programs for employees and contractors.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports and implement corrective actions.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives on safety matters.Ensure proper usage of PPEs, safety signage, and emergency preparedness systems.Maintain safety documentation, registers, and statutory records.Promote a strong safety culture across all levels of the project team.Desired Candidate ProfileDegree / Diploma in Engineering with Safety Certification (ADIS / PDIS / NEBOSH or equivalent).More than 10 years of experience in safety management, preferably in Metro / Railway / Infrastructure Projects.Strong knowledge of HSE laws, construction safety norms, and metro project safety standards.Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.Ability to independently manage site safety operations.
