The product was also the National Winner and International Top 20 of the prestigious James Dyson Award 2020 and has gained traction with major public hospitals and orthopaedic clinics. Their digital therapy platform, consisting of KIMIA Assess and KIMIA Move products, uses artificial intelligence technology for digital MSK assessment and therapy. This platform is capable of providing pre-consultation assessments and real-time exercise guidance and feedback to musculoskeletal patients and is being adopted by some of the largest private healthcare providers in the region, along with large corporate players.Job SummarySupport the Finance Lead in managing the company’s Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. The role also includes inventory and fixed asset management, statutory compliance, and ad-hoc administrative and finance operations. This position requires experience in a startup environment, including regular financial reporting (MIS) to shareholders, corporate structuring, and supporting capital raise activities.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable (AR)Raise tax invoices and credit notes in the company’s accounting systemReconcile AR balances on a regular basisMonitor and follow up on long-overdue receivables with internal and external stakeholdersUpdate client accounts based on payments received or changes in contact informationAccounts Payable (AP)Verify, process, and record supplier invoices and payments in the accounting systemEnsure timely payment of vendors and service providersReconcile AP balances on a regular basisReconcile petty cash disbursementsInventory & Fixed Assets ManagementManage inventory records and investigate discrepanciesResolve inventory-related issues including stock levels, obsolescence, and missing itemsConduct periodic stock-taking and prepare inventory reportsManage fixed asset registers and ensure all company assets are properly recorded and accounted forFinancial Reporting & Startup FinanceMaintain a full set of accounts and prepare monthly MIS and consolidated financial reportsRegularly report key financial metrics to management and shareholdersTrack and report startup financial metrics such as burn rate, runway, and cost allocationsSupport corporate structure documentation, including entity-level accounting and intercompany transactionsAssist in capital raise activities, including financial data preparation, investor reporting, and cap table structuring and maintenanceStatutory, Audit & ComplianceHandle GST and other statutory filings and reportingPerform monthly bank reconciliationsLiaise with external auditors during annual auditsPrepare draft audited accounts and support audit documentationBudgeting & PlanningAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and revised forecastsSupport financial planning and analysis for business decision-makingAd-hoc & Administrative TasksSupport finance and administrative tasks as required in a fast-paced startup environmentSkills & QualificationsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably in a startup or growth-stage companyExperience working with investor reporting, MIS metrics, and shareholder communicationExposure to capital raises, corporate structuring, and cap table management is a strong advantageProficiency in accounting systems; QuickBooks knowledge is an advantageStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent oral and written communication skills
