This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable beginning with a blank slate and transforming ideas into engaging visual stories.As Creative Lead, you will own the creative vision of a defined short-form of 3D animated series from idea to execution. You will develop original concepts, write scripts, define storytelling approaches, and guide creative execution to ensure every shot in the movie is clear, engaging, and emotionally impactful.ScopeCreative ownership of a 10-episode short-form of 3D animated series. 10 episodes, approximately 1 to 1.5 minutes eachCreate original story ideas and assist the production team in developing them into a full 3D animated seriesDefined creative direction, storytelling framework, and visual narrativeIdeate strong hooks, themes, and storytelling approaches for each episodeWrite original scripts and story outlines tailored for short-form filmmakingCreate or guide storyboards that clearly communicate creative intentReview movies for storytelling strength, narrative clarity, and visual consistencyProvide clear, structured, and actionable creative feedbackEnsure consistency with brand style guides and overall creative standardsWhat you will not be doingHands-on execution of 3D animation or asset creationVoice-over creation, recording, or audio productionDay-to-day asset execution or repetitive design workWorking as a project managerRequired Skills & ExperienceA diploma or degree in Visual Communication, Film, Animation, Media Studies, or a related field.3+ years of experience in conceptual storytelling, writing, and video content creationStrong portfolio showcasing concept-led, story-driven video or film workProven ability to ideate and write original short-form narrativesStrong understanding of storytelling fundamentals: structure, pacing, emotion, and flowSolid grasp of composition, color, and visual rhythmAbility to give thoughtful, constructive, and improvement-focused creative feedbackApplication RequirementsPlease include a link to your portfolio and/or showreel demonstrating expertise in conceptualization and storytelling.
