Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer with strong expertise in E3D and/or SP3D to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high‑quality piping layouts, 3D models, and detailed design deliverables in accordance with project specifications, engineering standards, and safety guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Develop 3D piping models using E3D or SP3D in accordance with project requirements.Prepare and review piping layout drawings, isometrics, GA drawings, support drawings, and other design deliverables.Interpret piping material specifications, piping class sheets, and project documentation.Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to develop accurate designs.Ensure designs comply with international codes such as ASME, API, ASTM, and relevant project standards.Perform clash checks using 3D modeling tools and resolve interface issues.Participate in model reviews and incorporate feedback from engineering teams and clients.Generate BOQs/MTOs and provide inputs for cost estimation when required.Ensure timely delivery of design packages and maintain high-quality documentation.Provide technical support during construction and respond to site queries.Required Skills and Experience:6–12 years of proven experience as a Piping Designer in EPC/EPCM or engineering environments.Hands-on expertise in AVEVA E3D or Intergraph Smart Plant 3D (SP3D).Strong understanding of piping design principles, equipment modeling, and plant layouts.Knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.1, etc.).Proficiency in reading P&IDs, equipment layouts, and vendor drawings.Experience in brownfield and greenfield projects is an advantage.Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsQualifications & Experience:Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, Power, or related industries.Knowledge of additional tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, MicroStation, PDMS, etc.Familiarity with project lifecycle documentation (FEED, Basic Engineering, Detailed Engineering)
