Post Silicon Validation Engineer – SoC PlatformsLocation: Bengaluru, IndiaExperience: 3–5 YearsBuild silicon that powers the next decade of computing.We are looking for a Post Silicon Validation Engineer who thrives at the intersection of SoC architecture, real silicon bring-up, and deep system debugging. You’ll validate complex SoC platforms from first power-on through production readiness — working hands-on with prototypes, silicon boards, firmware, and architecture teams.This is a role for engineers who love breaking systems, finding root causes, and turning first silicon into production-ready hardware. What You’ll DoBring up and validate first silicon SoCs on prototype boards and hardware platformsExecute post-silicon validation aligned to SoC architectural intent and specsDebug complex system issues across hardware, firmware, drivers, and architecture layersValidate CPU subsystems, memory, interconnects, and key peripheralsCorrelate pre-silicon results (simulation/emulation) with real silicon behaviorUse JTAG, trace tools, protocol/logic analyzers, and low-level debug techniquesIdentify silicon issues, drive root cause, propose fixes/workarounds, and close gaps fastWork tightly with SoC architects, design, DV, and firmware teams to improve next revisionsWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of hands-on Post Silicon Validation experienceStrong understanding of SoC architecture (CPU, memory hierarchy, interconnect, peripherals)Experience with prototyping platforms — FPGA prototypes, EVBs, silicon bring-up boardsStrong low-level debug skills across hardware & software boundariesComfort working close to hardware: firmware, boot flow, drivers, system bring-upAbility to break complex systems and methodically root-cause failuresGood to HaveExperience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, DDR, Ethernet, USB, etc.)Performance, power, or stress validation exposurePython/scripting for automation & debugExperience on large-scale or AI/networking/data-center SoCsAbout Us:Silicon Patterns is a specialized engineering services company with deep expertise in pre-silicon and post-silicon design and verification.
