We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Manager, who brings strong leadership capabilities combined with deep hands-on expertise in Java + Selenium automation, exposure to AI-driven automation tools (such as Test Modeler or similar), and proven experience in leading and providing guidance to Performance testing team.The ideal candidate will drive automation strategy, strengthen quality practices, mentor cross-functional teams, and help evolve the organization’s QA maturity across multiple products/clients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Automation LeadershipLead and architect automation frameworks using Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Appium, REST Assured, and CI/CD pipelines.Evaluate, implement, and scale AI/ML-based test automation tools (e.g., Test Modeler, Mabl, Test sigma, Tricentis Tosca AI, etc.).Drive best practices for automation coverage, reliability, and maintainability.Oversee development of reusable automation components and libraries.AI-Driven QA & InnovationChampion adoption of next‑generation QA approaches using AI-assisted test generation, model-based testing, self-healing automation, and smart regression.Collaborate with product and client engineering teams to identify opportunities to apply AI/ML for quality improvements.Build a roadmap for increasing automation efficiency through AI tools.Performance QA ManagementOversee Performance Testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, Locust, or k6.Define and enforce quality gates, test strategy, test planning, estimation, and execution standards.Drive defect prevention, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.Leadership & Stakeholder ManagementManage and mentor QA teams including automation engineers, and performance engineers.Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Client Success, and Release Management teams.Communicate QA metrics, quality risks, release readiness, and strategic initiatives to leadership.Create a culture of ownership, innovation, and quality-first mindset.Required Skills & Experience12+ years of overall QA experience with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles.Strong hands-on expertise in: Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnitAutomation Framework ArchitectureAPI Automation (REST Assured/Postman)CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Experience working with AI automation tools such as: Test ModelerMablTestsigma (AI-powered)Tricentis ToscaFunctionate or similarStrong knowledge of Performance Testing (JMeter, LoadRunner, k6, or Locust).Excellent understanding of Functional QA processes, regression strategy, and release quality.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong communication, people management, and stakeholder handling skills.Good to HaveExposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Experience with Mobile Automation (Appium).Knowledge of Security Testing fundamentals.Understanding of observability tools (Grafana, New Relic, Dynatrace).EducationBachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.Why Join Us?Opportunity to lead and transform Automation QA across multiple products/clients.Work with modern automation and AI-driven testing frameworks.Lead high-performing Automation QA team and drive innovation in quality engineering.
