In just 2 years, CCBP 4.0 learners have been hired by 1000+ companies including Google, Amazon, Nvidia, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Deloitte, and more.The scale at which we operate on the tech level (as of July 22)50 Crore+ learning minutes spent12 Crore+ Code Runs2 Billion+ API Requests Handled by our serversKnow more about NxtWave: more about us in the news - Economic Times | The Hindu | Yourstory | VCCircleJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Assessment Design Manager – Technical Stacks to lead the design and development of high-quality, industry-aligned technical assessments across multiple domains and learning tracks.This role is central to creating scalable, rigorous, and cheat-resistant assessment systems that maintain academic integrity, measure true competency, and drive consistent learning outcomes across campuses and online programs.The ideal candidate brings a combination of deep technical expertise and assessment design thinking, along with the ability to architect frameworks that will support evolving course offerings and future programs.ResponsibilitiesAssessment Design & BlueprintingLead the end-to-end design of assessments across various technical domains (e.g., full-stack development, backend, DSA, etc.).Build competency maps, difficulty ladders, and blueprint documents for all exams.Design multi-format assessments including MCQs, debugging tasks, code-completion, project evaluations, case-based questions, and hands-on coding tests.Ensure all assessments meet industry standards and reflect real-world skills.Quality, Review & VersioningImplement rigorous quality-control processes using frameworks like Bloom’s taxonomy, distractor logic, and difficulty/discrimination indices.Create and maintain large question banks with multiple variants to minimize leakage and maximize fairness.Develop guidelines that ensure assessments are secure, scalable, and resistant to malpractice.Assessment Delivery & AlignmentWork closely with curriculum, academic operations, delivery teams, and university partners to ensure assessments are executed smoothly across all locations.Standardize assessment methodologies for consistency across batches, campuses, and programs.Integrate AI-based evaluation workflows (coding and descriptive) and ensure accurate human review processes.Team Leadership & CollaborationLead, guide, and review work from assessment designers, content developers, and technical reviewers.Build documentation, SOPs, and design principles that ensure long-term scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align assessments with learning outcomes, program goals, and industry requirements.Analytics & Continuous ImprovementAnalyze student performance data to identify skill gaps, assessment issues, and opportunities for refinement.Continuously improve question quality, difficulty calibration, and competency alignment.Establish feedback loops to strengthen assessment frameworks over time.Minimum QualificationsBTech / MTech in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.3–6 years experience in software development, technical assessment design, technical hiring, or L&D roles.Strong hands-on expertise in at least one major stack (e.g., MERN, Java, Python, DSA, Cloud, or equivalent).Proven experience creating coding challenges, MCQs, debugging tasks, and framework-driven assessments.Strong understanding of assessment methodologies:Bloom’s taxonomyCompetency mappingDifficulty & discrimination indexBlueprintingExcellent analytical ability and clarity in evaluating technical skill depth.Strong written and verbal communication with a focus on precision and structure.Preferred QualificationsExperience with assessment platforms available in the industry Experience in assessment design, university evaluation teams, or large-scale EdTech assessment operations.Experience leading technical content or assessment teams.Familiarity with modern hiring patterns, coding interview structures, and industry skill expectations.Knowledge of AI-assisted grading tools.Job OverviewJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Hyderabad / NIAT CampusesWorking Days: 6-Day WeekRole Level: Manager (Senior)CTC Range: Competitive & aligned with industry standards
