Role OverviewWe are seeking a Principal Engineer – CAD to architect, develop and deploy Frontend and Backend tools and flows for Digital and Analog Designs done in the company. This role is part of the global CAD team.Location: [Bangalore and Hyderabad]Experience: 12+ YearsJob DescriptionOwn some part of the overall CAD solution and be responsible for WW engagement with customers.Good understanding of Digital Implementation Methodologies for HPC type of designs.Hands-on in development & debug of CAD flows and with industry leading EDA tools in Digital DesignsProactively engage with customers through regular follow-ups, tool training sessions, and consistent support throughout the entire deployment process.Hands-on in mature software development practices, leading programming languages for potential AI/ML development tasksExpected to work in a dynamic design environmentEvaluate EDA tools and flows for improved design efficiency and turnaround timeCertified EDA tools with considering international standards (ISO26262, ISO/SAE 21434)Prior collaboration with offshore/outsourcing partners and vendor escalation managementExperienced in leading team (Senior individual contributor role focused on technical leadership and cross‑team collaboration.)Conversational proficiency in Japanese is preferred.QualificationsBTech/MTech in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science with 12+ years of experience in EDA/CAD.Proven experience in supporting mature-node technologies (e.g., 22nm,12nm).Expertise in Synopsys/Cadence RTL to GDS digital design flow. (e.g., synthesis tools, implementation tools and STA tools)Strong scripting skills (Tcl, Perl, Python) for automation of RTL to GDS digital design flow (e.g., synthesis, implementation tools and STA flows)Working knowledge of license servers and environment variable–based license routingHands‑on experience with job scheduler (e.g., LSF or Slurm), including queue setup, resource tuning, job diagnosticsStrong communication skills (written and verbal), problem solving, teamwork, attention to detail, commitment to task, and quality focusIf you are open to exploring this opportunity, please apply and share your resume to Heena (/in/heena-kausar-3a2b94a4) at heena.k@
