Job Title: Procurement Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager – FMCGDepartment: Supply Chain / ProcurementLocation: [Bangalore, Jigani]Job PurposeTo manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships for raw materials, packaging, and indirect materials to ensure uninterrupted supply, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and alignment with FMCG business requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Sourcing· Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables as per production and business requirements.· Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers in line with company standards.· Negotiate prices, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization.· Ensure timely placement of Purchase Orders (POs) and follow-up for deliveries.Vendor Management· Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.· Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations (quality, cost, delivery, service).· Resolve supply-related issues including shortages, quality concerns, and delays.Cost & Inventory Management· Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and availability to minimize procurement risks.· Support cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality.· Coordinate with planning and warehouse teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.Quality & Compliance· Ensure materials meet required quality standards and regulatory compliance (FSSAI / GMP / ISO, as applicable).· Work closely with QA/QC teams for vendor audits and material approvals.· Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and SOPs.Coordination & Reporting· Collaborate with Production, Planning, Finance, and Logistics teams.· Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor comparisons, and cost analysis.· Support audits and documentation requirements.Key Skills & Competencies· Strong negotiation and vendor management skills· Knowledge of FMCG raw materials & packaging sourcing· Understanding of supply chain and inventory management· Analytical and cost optimization skills· Good communication and stakeholder management skills· Ability to perform cost analysis of products· Experience with importing items· should have knowledge of engineering sparesQualification & Experience· Bachelor’s degreeExperience: 4-6 Years – Sr. Executive or Asst.
