The Placement Officer will be responsible for driving campus placements, building industry connections, conducting career counseling, and facilitating internship and recruitment activities for MBA and PGDM students.Note: This position is not an HR role in a corporate company. Candidates are advised to apply only if they are genuinely interested in a campus placement and industry-connect role within an educational institution.Key ResponsibilitiesSecure placement opportunities with top-tier companies offering roles in Finance, HR, Data Science, Analytics, IT Services, and Emerging Tech.Develop and maintain strong corporate relationships to achieve a minimum of 10 company tie-ups per specialization per year offering a minimum CTC of ₹8 lakh p.a.Organize and coordinate on-campus/off-campus recruitment drives, internship drives, and industry engagement events.Provide career counseling, resume-building support, and mock interview training to students.Track and report placement statistics, trends, and employer feedback; ensure placement targets are achieved.Collaborate with academic departments to align training initiatives with industry requirements.Manage the placement database and ensure accurate, timely documentation.Stay updated on market and industry trends relevant to MBA/PGDM domains.QualificationsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.Prior experience as a Placement Officer in a B-School or Engineering Institution is highly preferred.Proven exposure to corporate recruitment processes in Finance, HR, Marketing, IT, and Analytics sectors.Excellent communication, relationship-building, and time management skills.Strong commitment to student success and career development.Compensation & BenefitsRemuneration: Commensurate with experience and qualificationsBenefits: Group Mediclaim Insurance, Free Lunch, Free TransportationAdditional Perks: Subsidized accommodation for outstation candidates (subject to availability)Multiple positions availableJoin Us!Be a part of a dynamic academic environment and play a key role in shaping the professional future of aspiring management graduates.Apply now to join IIBS in building impactful industry connections and empowering student success.
