Role duration: Contractual for 6 months Role We seek a highly creative storyteller capable of independently generating, developing, and scripting 3D animated series from the ground up. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable beginning with a blank slate and transforming ideas into engaging visual stories. As Creative Lead, you will own the creative vision of a defined short-form of 3D animated series from idea to execution. You will develop original concepts, write scripts, define storytelling approaches, and guide creative execution to ensure every shot in the movie is clear, engaging, and emotionally impactful. Scope Creative ownership of a 10-episode short-form of 3D animated series. 10 episodes, approximately 1 to 1.5 minutes each Create original story ideas and assist the production team in developing them into a full 3D animated series Defined creative direction, storytelling framework, and visual narrative Ideate strong hooks, themes, and storytelling approaches for each episode Write original scripts and story outlines tailored for short-form filmmaking Create or guide storyboards that clearly communicate creative intent Review movies for storytelling strength, narrative clarity, and visual consistency Provide clear, structured, and actionable creative feedback Ensure consistency with brand style guides and overall creative standards What you will not be doing Hands-on execution of 3D animation or asset creation Voice-over creation, recording, or audio production Day-to-day asset execution or repetitive design work Working as a project manager Required Skills & Experience A diploma or degree in Visual Communication, Film, Animation, Media Studies, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in conceptual storytelling, writing, and video content creation Strong portfolio showcasing concept-led, story-driven video or film work Proven ability to ideate and write original short-form narratives Strong understanding of storytelling fundamentals: structure, pacing, emotion, and flow Solid grasp of composition, color, and visual rhythm Ability to give thoughtful, constructive, and improvement-focused creative feedback Application Requirements Please include a link to your portfolio and/or showreel demonstrating expertise in conceptualization and storytelling.
