Our new strapline sums it up in just four words: We make wind perform.Senvion is seeking a talent professional with 12-15+ years of experience as a result driven Field Issue Specialist with strong expertise in wind turbine control systems, power converters, grid compliance (FRT/LVRT/HVRT), and multi-platform hardware/software integration. Professional must be experienced in diagnosing complex field failures, supporting commissioning, and resolving grid-related performance issues across Europe and emerging markets and should have proven ability to bridge engineering, service, and certification teams to ensure fast root-cause resolution and improved fleet reliability.Job Responsibilities:Lead technical investigations of critical field issues across turbine fleet.Analyse SCADA, converter logs, and fault recordings for LVRT/FRT events.Support commissioning and post-installation stabilization.Provide technical resolution for grid non-compliance observations.Coordinate with R&D, converter firmware teams, and grid certification bodies.Support HIL validation for field-reported behaviour replication.Prepare corrective action plans (CAPA) and fleet-wide software updates.Advanced Root Cause Analysis (L3/L4)Act as the primary L3/L4 technical expert for complex field issues escalated by the Service department.Perform in-depth analysis of field data, logs, and dumps to identify the root cause of failures or performance issues.Replicate field scenarios in SIL or HIL environments to confirm the root cause and test assumptions.Solution Development & ValidationDevelop, document, and validate solutions, which may include parameter changes, configuration updates, or software patches.Rigorously test solutions in the lab (SIL/HIL) to ensure they resolve the issue without introducing side effects.Prepare and release formal documentation for all solutions and field updates for the Service team.Collaboration & Backlog ManagementWork closely with the V7 Team Lead and Service department to review and prioritize the field issue backlog.Interface with V1-V3 development teams to provide clear, actionable feedback on design or implementation flaws.Support the Service department with clear communication and technical explanations for complex issues.
