The Senior Program Manager will report to the Program Lead and be responsible for recruiting, supervising, and developing 2-4 state wide program managers.Key Results1. Early childhood education provides improved outcomes for children.2. New state policies are created to ensure and guarantee the improvements.3. Anganwadi workers and parents increase their skill levels as educators.4. The new program team comprises high performers devoted to the cause.Key Activities1. Assist the government in charting a roadmap for early childhood education in the state.2. Build strong relationships with the state and district gov't stakeholders.3. Translate data from the field into insights. Create goals based on those insights, broken down into small, actionable milestones.4. Hold regular meetings to collaborate with gov't partners, understand their work, and build personal relationships.5. Be close to the "stakeholders": meet regularly with the children, their parents, Anganwadi workers, and district and block level officials and build relationships.6. Hire, train, and grow a team of colleagues committed to their learning and ensure communication among team members is frequent and effective.Areas of responsibility1.
