Hiring: 1st Class Mining Engineer – Odisha Belt (Project Manager Profile)We are looking for a First Class Mines Manager / Mining Engineer with strong project management capabilities to lead and manage large-scale mining operations in the Odisha iron ore/coal belt.Key Responsibilities- Overall statutory and operational management of the mine as per MMR, DGMS, IBM, MoEF & PCB norms - Planning and execution of production, drilling, blasting, excavation, and dispatch schedules - Contractor management, billing certification, and cost control - Coordination with clients and local stakeholders - Implementation of safety systems, SOPs, and compliance documentation - Overseeing preparation of monthly plans, MIS, productivity reports, and budgeting - Leadership of multidisciplinary teams with focus on timelines and efficiencyRequired Qualifications- 1st Class Mines Manager Certificate (Unrestricted) – Mandatory - B.Tech / Diploma in Mining Engineering - 8–15 years of experience in open cast mines (iron ore/coal preferred) - Strong exposure to project execution, costing, and contract management - Knowledge of dispatch logistics, quality control, and ROM management - Computer proficiency – MS Excel, project planning tools such as AutoCAD, statutory returns,Desired Skills- Leadership & team handling - Commercial understanding of mining contracts - Problem-solving and decision-making under field conditions - Client coordination and communication - Ability to function as Site Head / Project ManagerLocationOdisha (Koira / Barbil / Sundargarh belt)Compensation- Best in industry – aligned with experience and capability
