We are looking for a responsible and technically sound Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical systems and compliance at our mining operations in Kurmitar, Odisha. The role is critical to ensure uninterrupted production, statutory safety compliance, and reliable operation of heavy mining equipment, crushers, screen plants, substations, and infrastructure.The candidate must be capable of working independently at site and coordinating with DGMS, OMC/Client representatives, and internal operations teams.⸻Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Operations & Maintenance• Maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, substations and overhead lines• Electrical maintenance of crushers, screen plants, conveyors & mining machinery• Preventive maintenance planning & breakdown troubleshooting• Power load management and energy optimization2. Safety & Compliance• Ensure compliance with DGMS and electrical safety regulations• Maintain earthing, lightning protection, and statutory records• Conduct safety inspections and implement corrective actions• Supervise electrical contractors and technicians3. Documentation & Reporting• Maintain log books, shutdown records & inspection registers• Liaison with Electrical Inspectorate & statutory authorities• Prepare electrical drawings, load charts & maintenance schedules4.
