We are looking for an experienced and results-orientedPurchase Managerto develop and build our purchase team at Guwahati manufacturing unit for All Time Bamboo Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of All Time Plastics Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing purchase and its end to end process for bamboo which includes vendor development, material movement, legal and compliances.1. Raw Material & Vendor Liaisoning Sourcebamboo and bamboo-based raw materialsfrom farmers, aggregators, forest-based cooperatives, and approved suppliers acrossAssam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, and nearby regions . Develop and maintain areliable vendor baseensuring consistent quality and supply. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and long-term contracts. Ensure compliance withforest regulations, transit permits, and sustainability norms . Experience working withlocal suppliers, farmer groups, and government bodiesis an advantage 2. Quality & Compliance Coordinate with Quality and Production teams to ensurematerial specificationsare met. Ensure procurement complies withenvironmental, legal, and ESG standards . Maintain documentation related tovendor approvals, audits, and certifications . 3. Inventory & Logistics Coordination Work closely with stores, logistics, and production teams for smooth inward material flow. Support warehouse stock audits and reconciliation. 4. End-to-End Logistics Management Managecomplete logistics operationsfrom source to plant, including: Transport planning and route optimization Coordination with transporters and logistics partners Scheduling dispatches aligned with production plans Monitorinbound logistics costs , lead times, and transit risks. Tracklead times, transit risks, and storage conditionsfor bamboo and consumables. Resolve logistics bottlenecks related toterrain, weather, permits, and remote sourcing locations . Ensure safe handling, storage conditions, and minimal transit damage of bamboo and materials. Optimize freight costs through rate negotiations and transporter empanelment. 5. MIS, Reporting & Systems Maintain accuratepurchase records, MIS, and dashboards . Track KPIs such as cost savings, vendor performance, delivery adherence, and quality rejections.
