Job Title Sr. Backend Developer (Python, APIs & Integrations) Overview • We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend • systems and APIs. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python-based backend development, • data modeling, and system integrations, and is comfortable working across services, databases, and • integration protocols. This role will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, and • other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.Role & Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Python - Build and manage scalable, secure, and high-performance backend architectures - Design and optimize data models, schemas, and database interactions (SQL and/or NoSQL) - Implement and manage system integrations with internal and external services - Work with integration protocols such as REST, SOAP, Webhooks, and message queues - Ensure API reliability, performance, versioning, and documentation - Collaborate with frontend teams to define API contracts and data flows - Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices - Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standardsRequirements - 5+ years of backend development experience (experience level negotiable for strong candidates) - Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or others - Hands-on experience designing and developing RESTful APIs - Solid understanding of data modeling, database design, and query optimization
