We are seeking an experienced SAP RAR Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting solutions in an S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong functional knowledge of revenue recognition (ASC 606 / IFRS 15), hands-on SAP RAR configuration experience, and the ability to collaborate closely with Finance, SD, and IT teams.We are looking for an SAP Business Solutions Analyst with hands-on RAR experience to join our team to act as liaison between IT and Business focusing primarily on delivering enhancements and own production support. As part of this role IT BSA has to work closely with the various business groups in the Revenue Ops areas in streamlining the processes or identifying the business processes which might be the cause for system gaps or data corruption. IT Business Systems Analyst supports business teams in the prioritization of enhancements, design, implement, and support SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting solutions in an S/4HANA environment. Should be a passionate person with an ability to independently manage production support issues / enhancements and help users with best possible experience.Your ImpactHave a very strong First Principles AI mindset to find the solutions to the complex problems. Hands-on experience in using AI tools to create functional documentation and automate the JIRA stories to translate them into functional specification documents as per SAP Stds.Prepare and Review test plans & test scripts. Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results.Implement solutions to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, enhance internal customers experience.Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) processes which includes Configuring RAR components like Revenue Contracts, POBs (Performance Obligations), SSP determination, Event-based revenue postings, Contract modifications (retrospective/prospective), Map business revenue recognition requirements to SAP RAR processes, Ensure compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15, Integration & Data Flow.Analyze and optimize end-to-end RAR processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance user experience.Identify gaps in current processes and recommend solutions to align with industry best practices.Collaborate and work closely with Revenue Ops, Accounting, and IT teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.Create and maintain detailed documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user manuals.Manage change requests and ensure proper testing and validation of system changes.Ability to work independently to figure out integration issues.Maintenance and SupportMonitor system performance and resolve issues proactively to minimize downtime and customer impactsConduct regular audits of data quality and integrity, implementing corrective actions as necessaryProvide ongoing support and training to users, ensuring they are equipped to leverage SAP effectivelyBest Practices and DocumentationEstablish and enforce best practices for SAP development and configuration.Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and proceduresQuickly learn and adapt to a fast paced work environment with AI First Mindset.Your Experience8-10 years of hands-on experience as a core SAP RAR SME with cross functional domain knowledge of Sales & Distribution, General Ledger, Financial Accounting.Functional configuration and implementation experience and prior support experienceProven experience in integrating SAP S/4 Hana cross functional modules.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to understand product design and architecture. Demonstrated proactive, self-motivated, quality focus, customer centric, AI mindset.CertificationsSAP Certified RAR Specialist (preferred)Additional SAP certifications are a plusSoft SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities using AIExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex business solutions/concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAbility to keep up with current industry technology trends to assess and make recommendations on processes, designs, operations, in keeping with the latest technology
