The role requires hands-on experience in privacy regulations, data mapping, risk assessments, implementation of privacy controls, and client-facing advisory assignments.Candidates should have strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and practical exposure to privacy governance, compliance implementation, and stakeholder management.Key Responsibilities1. Privacy Compliance & AdvisorySupport implementation and operationalization of privacy frameworks aligned to DPDP Act (India), GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulationsConduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) / Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA)Perform data mapping, data flow analysis, and record of processing activities (RoPA) documentationAssist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, notices, consent mechanisms, and internal SOPs2. Risk Assessment & GovernanceConduct privacy maturity assessments and gap analysisIdentify privacy risks and recommend remediation strategiesSupport third-party/vendor privacy risk assessmentsWork closely with legal, IT, security, and business teams to embed privacy-by-design principles3. Data Subject Rights & Incident SupportSupport Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR) lifecycle managementAssist in breach assessment and regulatory reporting requirementsMonitor privacy compliance controls and periodic review mechanisms4. Project Execution & Client EngagementParticipate in client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and compliance discussionsPrepare reports, executive summaries, and remediation roadmapsEnsure timely delivery of assignments within defined project timelinesLevel-Specific ExpectationsConsultant (2–4 Years)Hands-on execution of privacy assessments and documentationStrong knowledge of DPDP, GDPR basics, and privacy control implementationAbility to work independently on defined modulesAssistant Manager (4–6 Years)Lead small teams for privacy implementation engagementsManage client communication for workstreamsOversee DPIAs, third-party risk reviews, and compliance remediation trackingManager (6+ Years)Lead end-to-end privacy programs and multi-location engagementsDrive governance strategy and privacy framework implementationMentor junior team members and manage stakeholder escalationsSupport pre-sales, proposals, and solution design discussionsRequired Skills & Qualifications2+ years of relevant experience in Data Privacy / Data ProtectionStrong understanding of:DPDP Act (India)GDPRCCPA (good to have)Experience in data mapping, RoPA, DPIA, and privacy governance frameworksUnderstanding of ISO 27701 / ISO 27001 (good to have)Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skillsConsulting or advisory background preferredPreferred Certifications (Good to Have)CIPP / CIPM / CIPTISO 27701 Lead Implementer / AuditorISO 27001 certification
