Job Title: Innovation Scouting & Documentation Officer – JharkhandIdentify and scout grassroots, tribal, rural, and community-based innovations across the districts of Jharkhand.Conduct field visits in villages, tribal belts, and remote areas to document traditional knowledge, local technologies, and emerging innovations.Engage with local communities, SHGs, farmer groups, artisans, students, MSMEs, and local institutions for innovation mapping.Conduct structured interviews and prepare detailed case studies covering technical, social, and livelihood impact aspects.Translate and document innovations from local languages into professional reports.Capture geo-tagged photographs, videos, and field notes to support documentation and validation.Coordinate with technical experts, universities, and incubation partners for preliminary evaluation and mentoring support.Maintain district-wise database of innovations and submit periodic field reports.Support organisation of innovation workshops, awareness camps, exhibitions, and award outreach programs in Jharkhand.Be willing to travel extensively within Jharkhand and work closely with local administration, NGOs, and community leaders. Education and ExperienceMaster’s degree in Rural Development, Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology/Anthropology, Agriculture, Public Policy, Engineering, or Management (Rural Management/Social Entrepreneurship preferred), with a minimum 1–2 years of relevant field experience in rural/tribal outreach, research, or innovation documentation.
