The ideal candidate is adaptable, student-focused, and enthusiastic about delivering high-quality English language and literature education while contributing positively to the school community.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching & InstructionPlan and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.Design structured lesson plans that address diverse learning styles and academic needs.Student Assessment & DevelopmentAssess student learning through assignments, tests, projects, and examinations.Provide timely, constructive feedback to support continuous academic improvement.Classroom ManagementMaintain classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.Collaboration & CommunicationWork closely with colleagues and school leadership to strengthen curriculum delivery.Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student progress effectively.Professional DevelopmentStay updated with CBSE guidelines, subject knowledge, and modern teaching methodologies.Actively engage in training programs and professional development initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceEducational QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in English or a related discipline.Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent recognized teaching certification.ExperienceProven experience teaching English at the secondary school level (Grades 6–10).Familiarity with CBSE curriculum requirements and assessment patterns.Skills & CompetenciesExcellent command of written and spoken English.Ability to create engaging, learner-centric lesson plans.Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.Personal AttributesStrong organizational and communication skills.Patient, resilient, and student-oriented approach.Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners.
