We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience who’s excited about LLMs + applied AI, and wants to grow fast while building production-grade AI features with a strong engineering team around them. This is not a “you must know everything” role. If you’ve done a few things well, and you’re hungry to learn the rest, you’ll fit in. This role requires availability from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST to support cross-team collaboration. What you’ll work on (high level) Building LLM-powered features (chat, assistants, summarizers, extraction, search). Creating RAG pipelines (documents → embeddings → retrieval → grounded answers). Shipping AI features via APIs and integrating into real products. Improving quality using basic evals + monitoring so things don’t break silently. What we expect you to already know (must have) 2+ years of software dev experience (you’ve shipped something to production). Strong fundamentals in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python. Comfort with building APIs, working with databases, and writing clean, testable code. Some hands-on exposure to LLMs (even side projects count): calling LLM APIs prompting + structured outputs (JSON) basic understanding of embeddings / RAG (at least conceptually) What you’ll learn here (nice to have, not required on Day 1) You don’t need to be an expert in all of this. We’ll help you ramp up: Better RAG: chunking, metadata, hybrid retrieval, reranking. Agent workflows: tool/function calling, multi-step reasoning, guardrails. Evals: building a small test set, measuring quality, reducing hallucinations. Observability: tracing, token/cost tracking, failure analysis. Deployment patterns: queues, workers, streaming responses, caching. The kind of person who wins here Curious by default — you keep learning even when nobody asks.
