The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely delivery of consolidated results.Key ResponsibilitiesLease accounting:• Lead end-to-end lease accounting activities, including review of lease data processed in IBM TRIRIGA.• Review and validate journals, reports, and system outputs and present insights to management.• Prepare and review lease-related disclosures and footnotes.External reporting:• Oversee preparation and review of external reporting schedules including 10-Q and 10-K support schedules, roll-forwards, tie-outs, and variance commentary.• Review financial statement footnotes including sales, related party, EMI, and stock-based compensation disclosures.• Review BEA and Census reports prior to regulatory submission.• Review corporate journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and perform hands-on posting when required.• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, non-GAAP disclosures, and internal control requirements.Continuous Improvements:Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to monthly SLAs. • Lead and mentor the team to ensure timely delivery with zero escalations.• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A and other finance teams.Qualifications, Experience and Key skill set:• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 7–10 years of post-qualification experience OR• Graduate or MBA from a reputed institute with 12+ years of post-qualification experience.• Strong expertise in US GAAP accounting and external reporting.• Experience with consolidation tools such as Cognos Planning Analytics.• Hands-on experience with lease accounting systems (TRIRIGA preferred).• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.• Proven team leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.Come join the tech shapers and growth makers at Genpact and take your career in the only direction that matters: Up.Let’s build tomorrow together.Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
