We're hiring: Anchoring & Mooring Lead — Floating SolarFloatex Solar has deployed over 1 GW of floating solar across India — working with NHPC, NTPC, and SJVN on projects up to 155 MW. We're the technology backbone behind most of the country's floating PV installations.We're looking for someone to own our anchoring and mooring engineering.What the role is:You own the mooring design philosophy — anchor selection, line configurations, restraint strategies — across all our projects. You review outputs (OrcaFlex/MOSES), validate mooring loads against site-specific conditions, and close technical queries with EPC clients and independent reviewers.You work with bathymetry data, geotechnical reports, and environmental loading to make engineering decisions that are defensible, not just conservative.What you bring:→ 8-12 years in mooring system design or review for floating structures→ Degree in Ocean Engineering, Naval Architecture, Offshore, or Marine Engineering→ Comfort reviewing OrcaFlex or equivalent analyses and challenging assumptions→ Experience with anchor sizing, holding capacity calculations, and mooring component verification→ Ability to sit in a client meeting, take a technical challenge on mooring, and close itWhat makes this different from your current job:If you're at an offshore consultancy or EPC, you're probably one of many engineers working on projects you'll never see built.
